over ten years on July 19 Youth Action organizes a candlelight vigil in silent memory of Paolo Borsellino and agents of the escort were killed in the massacre in Via D'Amelio. It is our civic duty every day to honor the memory of Paolo Borsellino, mainly on the day of his murder, because a people without a memory can not face the challenges of the future. July 19 order does not become just a day of commemoration that goes out the next day, but the natural expression of our fight against the Mafia in all its forms, it is necessary to actualize the message of all those who fought to liberate our land from La Cosa Nostra , detect and combat the new mafia infiltration in our society.
torch in memory of Paolo Borsellino and his escort of men will start Sunday, July 19th at 20:00 from the Statue of Liberty (Piazza Vittorio Veneto). The parade will end in Via D'Amelio will be placed where a wreath. To follow will be held in place the play "Paolo Borsellino: tragic hero" sponsored by the Laboratory of poetic faculty of Humanities.
The presence of each of us is important to show that the sacrifice of these men was not in vain. The flame of each torch through the streets of the city demonstrate that their ideas continue to live through our actions.
